What it is
Welcome to our Children’s Ministry at Hayes Barton UMC! Our goal is to help our children become fully alive in God’s love and to feel welcome, safe, loved, and accepted.
We offer a variety of programs for our children to help them grow in God’s love and fellowship with each other. We have Sunday School most Sundays from 10:00 to 10:50 AM, Wednesday night programming, and special events like Movie Night, Trunk-or-Treat, and more.
Nursery & Childcare
We offer nursery care for infants up to age four on Sunday mornings from 8:15 AM to 12:00 PM. The nursery and crawler rooms are for our youngest disciples from birth to crawling age, and two-year-old toddlers stay in the toddlers’ room for a story and a small activity.
Rest assured that your child is in safe and capable hands. Our nursery staff are experienced childcare providers, CPR certified, and have undergone background checks.
Safety and Check-In
As an added safety measure, all children must be checked in at one of our Realm Check-In Kiosks that can be found in the Children’s Ministry Area on the first floor near the Reid Street entrance.
HBUMC participates in the Safer Sanctuaries program.
