Everything you need to know before Sunday morning.

Walking into a church for the first time isn’t easy. We know that. Here’s what to expect, so nothing about Sunday morning is a surprise.

We have greeters at the door and there will be opportunities for visitors to connect with us.

Three Services

8:30am Communion Worship, in the Sanctuary.

A smaller, more intimate traditional service led by our Chamber Choir and organ. We celebrate Communion every Sunday, along with prayer, Scripture, preaching, and congregational hymns.

9:00am LightHouse Worship, in Casper Holroyd Hall.

Our contemporary service offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with music led by the LightHouse Worship Band, along with prayer, Scripture, and preaching.

11:00am Traditional Worship, in the Sanctuary.

Our largest service, with music led by the Chancel Choir and organ and often featuring additional instrumentalists. The service includes congregational hymns, prayer, Scripture, and preaching in the beautiful setting of our Sanctuary.

Not sure which service to try? You’re welcome at any of them. If you’re drawn to traditional worship and a fuller music program, try 11:00am. If you prefer a more relaxed, contemporary setting, LightHouse at 9:00am may feel more like home. And if you enjoy traditional worship in a smaller setting, with Communion every week, 8:30am is a wonderful option.

Parking and getting in

Two lots run along Fairview Road, at the Stone Street and Reid Street intersections. On Sunday mornings the Stone Street lot is reserved for anyone needing assistance and for our older members.

The best entrance for first-time visitors is the Stone Street entrance where a greeter or usher will be glad to assist you.

Children Are Welcome

Childcare is available for infants through age four every Sunday morning from 8:15 to noon. Our children’s ministry area is on the first floor near the Reid Street entrance.

We use Realm, our member portal, as a secure sign-in system. You will sign your child in at one of the check-in kiosks/computers in the Children’s Ministry area and receive an ID sticker that we match when you pick them up.

Our nursery staff are experienced childcare providers, CPR certified, and background checked.

Children and Families

Sunday School for every age

Sunday School meets between services from 10:00 to 10:50, with classes for all ages and stages. During the summer we hold a joint class from 10:00 to 10:45 in Holroyd Hall, with nursery care available.

What to wear

The photos on this site are real members. You will see everything from coats and ties to jeans. We have traditional services and contemporary services and we want you to wear what you are comfortable in.

Your family's safety

Every adult who works with our children and youth is screened, trained, and never alone with a child. Parents are welcome to visit and observe any classroom or activity at any time, without notice.
