Worship at Hayes Barton
Encounter the living God who centers, heals, connects, and empowers people to love and serve their community.
Traditional Worship
We gather on Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 11:00am in the Sanctuary to observe and celebrate the Lord’s Day through a traditional Methodist service. As you walk through the doors, the sanctuary invokes a warm and inviting feeling, offering a reverent and special place to praise our God. We observe Communion every week at 8:30am and monthly at all three services.
LightHouse Worship
LightHouse blends the traditional teaching of Scripture with uplifting music and multimedia, resulting in a powerful and real encounter with the living Christ. We keep the messages timely, follow the seasons of the Christian year, and connect to the overall spiritual theme of the church in a more relaxed atmosphere than a traditional worship service.
Music and Creative Arts
Hayes Barton is known for an outstanding music and creative arts program. Handbells, instrumental ensembles, one of the Southeast’s greatest organs, and a passion for worship define our Sunday mornings together.
