Sunday mornings

A place for every age

Bring the whole family on Sunday morning. While you worship or join an adult class, your children are learning, playing and growing in faith with caring teachers just down the hall.

  • Nursery and crawler rooms for our youngest disciples, from birth to crawling age.
  • Toddler room for two-year-olds, with a story and a small activity.
  • Childcare for infants through age four every Sunday from 8:15am to noon, so you can worship and attend a class.
  • Sunday School for ages 2 through 5th grade, most Sundays from 10:00 to 10:50am, in classrooms led by parent-teacher volunteers.

Safety and check-in

Safe, known and cared for

  • Every child checks in at a Realm check-in kiosk in the Children's Ministry area on Floor 1. You'll get an ID sticker that we match when you pick them up.
  • Visiting for the first time? Talk with one of the volunteers in the Children's Ministry area, and they'll help you get your child checked in.
  • Our nursery staff are experienced childcare providers, CPR certified and background checked.
  • Hayes Barton takes part in Safer Sanctuaries, The United Methodist Church's program for keeping children and youth safe.

Help with children's ministry

Lead a Sunday School lesson on a rotating schedule, rock babies in the nursery, or pitch in for VBS and seasonal events. You don't need to be a Bible expert. Just bring a willingness to encourage wonder and curiosity about God.
