For students in grades 6 through 12: a place to grow in relationship with Christ, build real friendships, and become lifelong disciples who worship God, serve others and love their neighbors.

Sunday mornings
JOY Class
JOY Class is the Sunday School part of our student ministry, meeting Sundays from 10:00 to 10:50am. There's a middle school class, a high school class, and Confirmation for 8th graders.
Sunday evenings
UMYF youth group
During the school year, students gather on Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00pm for United Methodist Youth Fellowship, or UMYF.
We start with games in the Fellowship Hall, eat dinner together, then break into small groups by age. The evening ends with a time of reflection in the Sanctuary.
Wednesday nights
Discussion and games
On Wednesday nights, youth meet from 6:30 to 7:30pm in the JOY Class room, Room 355, for discussion and games. Come early for dinner with the church family from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Reserve and pay for dinner in advance on our Sign Ups page.

For more than fifty years, Beach Retreat has helped students build friendships, strengthen their faith and make lifelong memories through worship, competition and small groups.

Pilgrimage, the Fall Nighter, Sixth Grade Welcome and the Senior Banquet are traditions many students remember for years.

Youth league basketball
Church youth league teams build teamwork, sportsmanship and confidence along with healthy competition.
7th grade and up
Youth Leadership Team
Students help plan and lead youth gatherings throughout the year, and help shape the direction of the ministry.

Your family's safety
Every adult who works with our youth is screened, trained and never alone with a young person. Two unrelated adults are present at every gathering, trip and overnight event.
Adults
Walk alongside our students
Help with Sunday night meals and small groups, chaperone a trip or retreat, coach a basketball team, or join the Youth Ministry Support Team. Consistent adults help students discover that church is a community where they belong.
