HBUMC's Youth Ministries programs encourage connections with Christ and others.
What it is
Building a youth ministry to grow in relationship with Christ, becoming lifeling disciples who worship God, serve others and love their neighbors.
JOY class is the Sunday school portion of Hayes Barton’s student programming.
UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship) is often referred to as youth group. During the school year, youth in grades 6-12 are invited to the Fellowship Hall from 5:00pm – 7:00 pm. We will begin with games, eat dinner together, and then break off into age specific groups. We end with a special time of reflection in the sanctuary. Our programs help youth grow in faith and connect to everyday life.

Your family's safety
Every adult who works with our youth is screened, trained, and never alone with a young person. Two unrelated adults are present at every gathering, trip, and overnight event.
