A Hayes Barton Ministry

Community Partnerships

Serving Our Community Together

What it is

We believe our neighbors matter to God, and that following Christ calls us beyond the walls of the church. Hayes Barton works alongside community organizations addressing needs including food insecurity, housing and homelessness, education, health and wellness, economic opportunity, and support for children and families. These partnerships give our congregation meaningful ways to serve while supporting organizations already doing important work throughout our community.

Children, Youth, & Family Support

Hayes Barton partners with organizations that provide education, mentoring, stability, and support for children, youth, and families facing challenges in our community.

Economic Empowerment & Poverty Alleviation

Hayes Barton partners with organizations that help individuals develop job skills, strengthen financial stability, and build pathways toward long-term independence.

Education & Skill Building

Hayes Barton supports ministries that provide tutoring, adult education, English language instruction, mentoring, and other educational opportunities that help individuals achieve their goals.

Faith-Based Advocacy & Education

Our congregation seeks to engage complex social issues thoughtfully, prayerfully, and in a nonpartisan manner rooted in Christian discipleship.

Food Insecurity

Hayes Barton partners with organizations that provide nutritious food through community meals, food distribution, and long-term efforts to reduce hunger throughout our region.

Health & Wellness Access

This ministry partners with organizations that improve access to healthcare, wellness resources, and support services for individuals and families throughout our area.

Housing & Homelessness

Hayes Barton supports ministries that prevent homelessness, provide transitional housing, and strengthen long-term housing stability for our neighbors.
