A Hayes Barton Ministry

International Missions

Serving Beyond Our Borders

What it is

Hayes Barton’s commitment to our neighbors extends around the world. Through international mission partnerships, our congregation helps children, young people, and families build stronger futures through education, nutrition, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and long-term empowerment. Opportunities such as ZOE Empowers, Rise Against Hunger, and Hearts & Hands for Haiti allow us to participate in work that addresses immediate needs while investing in lasting change.

Hearts & Hands for Haiti

Members of Hayes Barton sponsor children by helping provide education, nutrition, healthcare, clothing, and safe housing. A sponsorship is an investment in hope, dignity, and opportunity.

Costa Rica Missions

Costa Rica Mission Projects, led by Wil and Yolanda Bailey, connects churches in the U.S. and Costa Rica through mission teams and long-term relationships. Their Mission & Ministry Center provides childcare, student housing, free counseling through Listen with Love, and housing for volunteer teams. HBUMC provides financial support to help sustain these ministries and their ongoing work in the community.
